The Marc Ribot Interview

I have wanted to talk to Marc for a long time. As we discuss, we were playing the Bleecker Street scene at roughly the same time when we were both working sidemen in the New York of the Seventies. Both his book, Unstrung, and his new Ceramic Dog record, Hope, are terrific, and highly intertwined. We talk about that and a lot of other deep musical and highly humorous stuff.

Fender Jazzmaster’s 60th Anniversary

In honor of this iconic guitar’s 60th Anniversary and considering it is a fave model of modern guitarists, I though I would repost this. I have replaced the video links that have been removed since  the original. Also, when I originally reviewed the J. Mascis model for Guitar Moderne, I sent it back even though I really wanted it. I have just rectified that mistake.
